A Luxurious Stay Enjoying Wine Amidst Yatsugatake's Grand Nature

The "Wine Suite Maisonette" is a maisonette-style suite designed with a Bordeaux color scheme, symbolizing a wine resort. After checking in, guests can select a wine at the main dining room "OTTO SETTE," which boasts a cellar of 2,000 bottles, based on their culinary preferences or mood for the day. The chosen wine is then placed in the room's wine cellar to be savored at a preferred moment during their stay or with dinner.

The first floor features a bedroom with the majestic Yatsugatake mountain range depicted on the wall, with a raised tatami area and beds, as well as a daybed. The second floor offers a living space with a large 3x3 meter window overlooking "Pea Pepper Street," lined with 19 shops and hosting various seasonal events, and the surrounding lush nature. The walls, which transition in color from the first to the second floor, feature the grand Yatsugatake range on the first floor. The second floor has lattice-style shelves displaying books on wine and travel. A Bluetooth speaker, usable outdoors, is also provided for reading and enjoying music. The maisonette design allows for restful sleep on the first floor and enjoying wine with views that change with the seasons on the second floor, enabling guests to relax at their own pace and style without disturbing their companions.

The living room's wine cellar is stocked with exquisite bottles selected by the sommelier for the season from premium wineries in Yamanashi and Nagano. Notably, the wine from partner winery "Domaine Mie Ikeno," crafted using natural winemaking methods in vineyards at an altitude of 750 meters, captures the essence of Yatsugatake's nature. This wine is offered in a convenient half-bottle size exclusive to the new suite, perfect for enjoying during a trip.

Additionally, starting June 1st, a special accommodation plan exclusive to this suite, "A Moment to Encounter Wine," has been introduced. After check-in, guests can select a wine at the main dining room "OTTO SETTE," which boasts a cellar of 2,000 bottles, based on their culinary preferences or mood for the day. The chosen wine is then placed in the room's wine cellar to be savored at a preferred moment during their stay or with dinner. This plan also includes an original winery map, curated by the sommelier, highlighting wineries from over 120 establishments in Yamanashi and Nagano, and suggesting routes tailored to guests' itineraries. The map details wineries in the nearby塩尻 (Shiojiri) area of Nagano and the 勝沼 (Katsunuma) area of Yamanashi, which can be visited on the way home. Guests can also receive exclusive services at each winery, such as tours of normally restricted areas guided by the winemakers.



The room is furnished with "wine leather" items, crafted from leather dyed with grape pomace obtained during the winemaking process. These include a wine list cover and a "bottle bag" for carrying a wine bottle in a shoulder style. Guests are encouraged to enjoy these unique items, available only in a wine-producing region.
