Details Reflecting the Collaboration Model

The first collaboration model between RIMOWA and Off-White is based on RIMOWA's "Essential Model," with black accents applied to the wheels, locks, and telescopic handles as key design points.

Furthermore, by removing the interior lining and using a transparent body, it expresses a playful response to modern sensibilities regarding personal privacy.

Virgil Abloh, who holds the title of Men's Wear Artistic Director at Louis Vuitton and oversaw this design, commented, "It's always an exciting experience to create something with friends. The beginning of the collaboration project with RIMOWA dates back to 2014. RIMOWA CEO Alexandre Arnault and I envisioned a model where functionality matched a very cool look. As a fan of the RIMOWA brand and a user of RIMOWA carry-on cases, I was committed to creating something I truly wanted to make, something only possible through collaboration. I am confident that those who see the collaboration model will understand the result."

Beyond its design, its high functionality is also a major appeal, featuring the Flex-Divider system for efficient packing and the adoption of TSA locks. A delightful touch is the inclusion of interchangeable orange wheels, characteristic of Off-White's brand colors, with the limited amenity kit.
