The air has turned crisp and cool, signaling the arrival of autumn. It's only natural, of course, as we're already heading into the latter half of October. Hello everyone, it's Reiko. I couldn't bear the thought of this slightly lonely season without company, so I jetted off to the perpetual summer of Hawaii! Today, I'll share a new way to experience the islands.

This time, instead of staying in a hotel, I indulged in a leisurely Hawaiian escape through a time-share with Hilton Grand Vacations. By the way, have you all heard of "time-sharing"?

It's become quite the trend in Europe and the US in recent years. It's a system where you can own a vacation property, like a condominium with a kitchen, living, and dining area, in resort destinations such as Hawaii or Las Vegas, on a week-by-week basis.

With Hilton Grand Vacations, you can also access resorts and affiliated hotels worldwide. So, if you're not quite in the mood for Hawaii, you can choose your destination accordingly. The units come with kitchens, allowing you to live in your accommodation as if it were your home for a week. Depending on the length of your stay, housekeeping services are available, making it incredibly convenient. Features include spacious living areas with dining spaces – perfect for hosting home parties! Time-sharing, which is gradually gaining recognition among Japanese travelers, is how I enjoyed Hawaii this time.

Home Parties Are a Blast!

My accommodation this time was the luxurious time-share resort, The Grand Waikikian. From the balcony, the view was of the brilliant blue ocean! The spacious unit, complete with a kitchen, was the perfect setting to invite local friends over for a home party! Imagine a home party overlooking Waikiki Beach – it's a dream come true! And it's all possible at a Hilton Grand Vacations time-share. We ordered catering and pizza, and toasted with Hawaiian beer and champagne. Standard hotels don't have kitchens, and the real charm of time-sharing is the ability to "live like you're home".
