On Saturday, August 13, 2022, Park Hyatt Tokyo will host "JAZZ ON A SUMMER’S DAY," a one-night-only jazz club event featuring a collaboration between jazz vocalist akiko and the Masatake Umino Trio in the 39th-floor ballroom.

The jazz club will feature a performance by akiko, a popular artist active both domestically and internationally as the first Japanese female jazz vocalist on the prestigious jazz label Verve, and the trio of pianist Masatake Umino. Umino, who suffered a severe injury in an anti-Asian hate crime attack in the New York subway in 2020, made a miraculous recovery with global support and anticipation. This luxurious live performance by these two artists will be held in the ballroom of Park Hyatt Tokyo, offering panoramic city views.
On this occasion, specially prepared drinks and finger foods will also be available. The New York Bar original Espresso Martini, inspired by New York, a city with ties to both performers and Park Hyatt Tokyo, is a must-try.
