A World Crafted Through Collaborations with Diverse Musicians

akiko, who has not only established herself as a jazz singer but also as a style and lifestyle icon, garnering support from women, has released her 21st album, following "JAZZ ME NY" released last August.

For this work, she personally selected timeless masterpieces. She collaborated with various musicians to create the songs, including the 21-piece big band "Gentle Forest Jazz Band" and "Bloom Moon Quartet," a representative of Japan's vintage music scene.



Additionally, she features the female chorus groups "Chaichy Sisters" and "Gentle Forest Sisters," showcasing beautiful harmonies and girl group doo-wop. Beyond covers, the album also includes blues numbers she penned herself.

Furthermore, attention to detail extends beyond the music itself. The dress worn on the album jacket is from the collaboration series "JAZZ ME DRESS" with the dress brand "N_DRESS." It's a special dress that recreates 1950s fabrics and silhouettes using original textiles. The enclosed booklet is designed in a tabloid style, reminiscent of a fashion magazine, reflecting her aesthetic sensibility throughout.

On Sunday, February 8th, she will appear at the party "OCEANUS “10th Anniversary PARTY～KING OF BLUE”" at Maihama Amphitheater, and on Saturday, April 11th, she will hold a live event titled "Rockin' Jivin' Swingin' Special!" at the Ebisu Garden Room. Both events are scheduled to feature collaborations with the musicians who participated in the album.
