Shuya Okino is a figure of remarkable versatility, recognized as a creative director, DJ, selector, writer, the world's only selector critic, and producer of the club "The Room."

He has consistently captured attention with his bold ideas and actions, from selling ¥10,000 vinyl records that sparked a massive online controversy, to writing blog posts about his inner thoughts while DJing that garnered significant readership, and conceptualizing a project where top international DJs sent a petition to the Japanese Prime Minister to advocate for changes to the public entertainment act. This book chronicles his life from his teens to the present, written in a witty and sophisticated style.

The book is structured around key periods: his origins in his teens, becoming a DJ (ages 20-25), conquering the scene (ages 25-30), unpaid bills of ¥30 million (ages 30-35), an offer of ¥200 million in appearance fees (ages 35-40), and embracing change (ages 40-45).
