Last March, the jazz week held at Shibuya's Hikarie Theater Orb garnered significant attention. This year, the event moves to Shibuya's Bunkamura Orchard Hall as "JAZZ WEEK TOKYO 2014," running from Thursday, April 3rd to Sunday, April 6th, and Monday, April 14th to Tuesday, April 15th.

Internet radio "JJazz.Net" has secured prime seats (first-floor seating) for each performance and is offering a special promotion for preferred seating tickets to "JAZZ WEEK TOKYO 2014."

The highly anticipated event in the jazz scene, "JAZZ WEEK TOKYO 2014," has been confirmed.


"JJazz.Net" (http://www.jjazz.net/) is a completely free internet music station centered around jazz, with the theme "SESSION: MUSIC & LIFESTYLE." Currently, navigators such as Tatsuo Sunaga, DJ KAWASAKI, Karen Aoki, and Chocolat & Akito host programs based on 12 concepts.

"JAZZ WEEK TOKYO 2014" features the reunion of the exquisite collaboration "UA x Naruyoshi Kikuchi" after a seven-year hiatus. Guitar icon Char's live performance will be a special set where the electric guitar swings.


The lineup is packed: "Lee Ritenour & Dave Grusin's Brazil Project" dedicated to A.C. Jobim, with guest Lisa Ono; Norio Maeda, Japan's esteemed arranger, presents "Chie Ayado with Norio Maeda Special Big Band" with guest Nobuo Hara; and jazz legend Wayne Shorter performs with a quartet featuring Brian Blade, hailed as the current top drummer.
