SOIL&”PIMP”SESSIONS' new album, "MAN STEALS THE STARS," is now available. It features a wealth of jazz sounds that return to the band's roots. They continue to captivate audiences with their "borderless and free" music.

Formed in 2001 by musicians who met at a club event in Tokyo, the band has built its career around live performances. With their solid musicianship and cool demeanor, they deliver passionate jazz sounds on stage.

They have released works overseas and participated in music festivals, performing in 31 countries and continuing their worldwide activities.

Released in December 2019, SOIL&”PIMP”SESSIONS' latest album is "MAN STEALS THE STARS." This marks their first album release in about a year and a half since "DAPPER."

"DAPPER" featured numerous vocalists and rappers such as Yojiro Noda, Daichi Miura, EGO-WRAPPIN', and Awich, presenting works that sublimated their musicality.

This time, it's a complete shift. The album unfolds an alternative jazz that returns to the band's naked, original form, centered on instrumentals.

Since their formation, SOIL&”PIMP”SESSIONS has championed "borderless and free" musical expression, creating innovative sounds through fusion with various genres. This album is a work that foresees the mood of the 2020s.

The jacket artwork was created by illustrator Mariko Enomoto, embodying the album's concept of "the fictional story of a poet who came from the future."

SOIL&”PIMP”SESSIONS constantly evolves, drawing inspiration from everything around them. While we've called this an "album that foresees the mood," perhaps they are the ones who will shape the future mood.
