Hiromi Uehara's 10th Anniversary Box "First Five Years"
Jazz pianist Hiromi Uehara is celebrating her 10th anniversary since her debut. To commemorate this, the box set "First Five Years," featuring audio and video released over five years from her debut album "Another Mind" to "Beyond Standard" in 2008, will be released on Wednesday, November 20th.

Hiromi Uehara, who made a stunning global debut with "Another Mind" in 2003, was born in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, in 1979. She began studying piano and composition at age six and performed with Chick Corea at the young age of 17. While studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston, she signed with the renowned jazz label "TELARC" and has achieved global recognition, including a Grammy Award for a participating work in 2011, making her a leading Japanese musician.
Hiromi Uehara's music, which defies categorization even within the broadly interpreted genre of "jazz," has consistently delivered fresh impressions with each release. Even a decade after her impactful debut, she continues to pursue the possibilities of music as a frontrunner.
Five original albums released between 2003 and 2008
This limited edition box set will feature all five works released by Uehara in her first five years since her debut, being released on CD for the first time with domestic pressing. Additionally, it includes a DVD compiling video content that was previously only available on initial limited editions of albums or tour editions.
Furthermore, during the year-end and New Year period, she will hold countdown and New Year's live performances as "Hiromi Uehara The Trio Project" at Blue Note Tokyo. With Anthony Jackson on bass and Simon Phillips on drums, they will deliver an exciting live show.
