The Master Pianist Returns to Japan with a New Album and a Band of Rising Stars

Chick Corea returns to Blue Note Tokyo with The Vigil, a unit that breaks conventions, comprised of members chosen regardless of age or experience, aiming for sounds incorporating new techniques and fresh improvisations.



The lineup includes Marcus Gilmore, grandson of Roy Haynes, the guitarist Charles Altura, known as "Rising Sun," Carlitos Del Puerto, son of an original member of Irakere, and popular percussionist Luisito Quintero – all rising talents. Experience the surprises that Chick, ever more energetic and aggressive, has in store.
