With her exotic features, Yuja Wang is immensely popular in Europe and has even appeared as a fashion model in Spain's leading newspaper, El País. As a pianist, she is highly acclaimed for her performances that blend unrestrained freedom, the bold imagination of youth backed by rigorous training, and the precision of a mature artist. She particularly draws attention for her flawless control and technique, which are showcased not only in works requiring superhuman skill but also in her profound musicality, fresh interpretations, elegance, and charismatic stage presence that captivates audiences.

Following her recital debut in San Francisco, the influential American newspaper, the San Francisco Chronicle, praised her, stating, "The emergence of this China-born pianist, Yuja Wang, heralds an evolution unlike any we have seen before. Hearing her play forces one to reconsider preconceived notions of what constitutes masterful piano performance." Her recital at the Kennedy Center was also reported by The Washington Post as leaving audiences "speechless."

This time, she appears as the soloist with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, founded in 1946 by the legendary British conductor and philanthropist Sir Thomas Beecham.

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra is a prestigious ensemble that has shaped the music scene in London, a world-renowned musical city, by appointing accomplished conductors such as Kempe, Doráti, Previn, and Gatti as principal conductors and music directors.

Charles Dutoit, the "sound magician" who transformed the Montreal Symphony Orchestra from a local ensemble into a world-class orchestra, has served as Artistic Director since 2009. He actively promotes performers from younger generations, such as the rapidly rising Yuja Wang and Ye-Eun Choi. This concert promises a vibrant musical tapestry woven from the orchestra's rich colors and rhythms.
