An Evening of Drinks, Food, and Jazz

The "Kyoto Jazz Sextet" is a serious jazz project launched in 2014 by Shuya Okino of KYOTO JAZZ MASSIVE.

The ensemble features Yusuke Hirado (Piano) from quasimode, Shinpei Ruike (Trumpet) formerly of Naruyoshi Kikuchi Dub Septet, Ken Kurihara (Saxophone) from Mountain Mocha Kilimanjaro, Masato "P" Koizumi (Bass) from Hex, and Masayoshi Amakura (Drums), known for his work with JAZZTRIONIK.

To celebrate the release of their new album, "UNITY," they will hold a one-man live performance, "UNITY vinyl release party," at CITAN.

This marks CITAN's first-ever jazz live event. CITAN regularly hosts DJ events every weekend as part of its Lounge programming. Okino served as an advisor to CITAN for the first three months after its opening and continues to collaborate on DJ bookings and music events.

The "UNITY vinyl release party" offers an opportunity to enjoy exceptional music, drinks, and food. It's an event not to be missed.
