A Rare Collaboration for One Night Only

N’Dea Davenport, the original vocalist of The Brand New Heavies—a band that gained global attention in the UK acid jazz scene in the mid-90s—joins forces with Kyoto Jazz Sextet, led by Shuya Okino, a charismatic figure in Japan's DJ scene, for a special jazz performance to mark the start of the Christmas season.

Davenport and Okino have been friends for 26 years, since her debut in 1991, and have collaborated numerous times. This marks their first performance together with Kyoto Jazz Sextet.

The performance will feature songs by Kyoto Jazz Sextet, as well as Davenport's songs, which will be performed in a jazz arrangement for the first time.
