Co-hosting Jazzanova's 20th anniversary

An event celebrating the 50th birthday of Shuya Okino, who is a selector, composer, writer, and currently training to be an ikebana artist.

What will this titan of the music world, who has consistently stirred things up with new proposals, play and say at this milestone in his life?

A stellar lineup of guests closely connected to Okino will gather. Shinichi Osawa (Mondo Grosso), Tomoyuki Tanaka (FPM), Toshio Matsuura, Tatsuo Sunaga, DJ JIN (RHYMESTER), Ryota Nozaki (Jazztronik), Shachou (SOIL&"PIMP"SESSIONS), Yoshihiro Okino (Especial Records), DJ KAWASAKI, and Midori Aoyama (Eureka) will come together across genres.

This lineup is not to be missed, serving as a showcase of the latest work by Japanese DJs with global appeal.

Furthermore, Alex Barck, making a long-awaited return to Japan, will join to celebrate Jazzanova's 20th anniversary. Amidst the growing trends in techno and deep house, a subtle revival of broken beats and soulful house is underway. In a music scene where US and UK jazz are becoming increasingly vibrant, anticipation is high for what they will play.

Having supported the jazz/crossover scene since the 90s, they will use this milestone year to reflect on the past and propose future directions.
