Titled "Tokyo Creative Lounge ~ The Golden Trio Returns ~", this event is more than just a night out; it's a party designed to create a gathering space where adults can inspire each other through music. The unconventional format, beginning with audience discussions and transitioning into a DJ event, promises a new kind of party that appeals to the intellect and senses with stimulating conversations and a curated selection of music. The venue is "XEX Nihonbashi," a new concept from XEX that blends Italian dining, a bar, and music. It will envelop the space with powerful live sound.

The "Golden Trio"—Shuya Okino, Tatsuo Sunaga, and Toshio Matsuura—who once united at XEX ATAGO GREEN HILLS, will reunite. For the first time in a while, they will play new and old jazz as a trio.

In the historic "Nihonbashi" district, known for its collection of long-established establishments, what will this reunion of three artists convey, what will they play, and what will they make us feel? Why not experience their skills, honed by creators with a craftsman's spirit who are recognized worldwide?

Shuya Okino
DJ, composer, writer, music curator, founder of Tokyo Crossover/Jazz Festival, and producer of The Room. His release "ECLIPSE" under the name KYOTO JAZZ MASSIVE was the first by a Japanese artist to reach No. 1 on the UK's BBC Radio ZUBB chart for three consecutive weeks. He has been invited to DJ and perform in 35 countries and 140 cities worldwide, and has been featured by CNN and Billboard, making him one of the few Japanese musicians who truly meet global standards. In recent years, he has become a leading figure in "sound branding," transforming spaces through music, and has designed the soundscapes for cinemas, hotels, banks, airports, and restaurants. He currently hosts the InterFM897 program "JAZZ ain‘t Jazz" (Wednesdays at 22:00) and oversees "Shuya Okino presents Music in The Room" on cable channel I-12.

Tatsuo Sunaga
DJ and producer. He has performed DJ sets in all 47 prefectures of Japan and has been instrumental in fostering musical exchange between Scandinavia and Japan, with numerous international performances. His MIX CD series "World Standard" has reached 12 installments, and his jazz compilation album "Tatsuo Sunaga's Yoru Jazz," considered his life's work, has over 20 installments. He has also produced numerous compilation CDs for domestic and international labels. In addition to many remix works both domestically and abroad, he has released five albums under his solo unit "Sunaga t experience." He continues to release vinyl-only singles as part of his efforts to promote analog formats. His related works, including the supervision and production of various compilations and international remix projects, exceed a total of 200 titles. He also engages in corporate branding, product development, and has authored numerous books on music and cuisine.

Toshio Matsuura
In 1990, he formed United Future Organization (U.F.O.), laying the foundation for Japan's club culture. Over 12 years, they released five full albums in 32 countries worldwide, earning critical acclaim. After going solo, he continued to DJ energetically at clubs and festivals both in Japan and abroad. He also produced events and supervised music for fashion brands. In 2013, he launched "HEX," a project that disseminates contemporary jazz from Tokyo to the world, collaborating with four talented musicians. The album was released worldwide by Blue Note Records.
