Kizunaworld.org, launched by Ryuichi Sakamoto and Tomoyasu Hirano, continues to support disaster-stricken areas by raising donations through a wide range of works provided by artists from Japan and abroad who sympathize with the project, under the concept of "doing everything one can as an individual."

Shimmy, who provided the music for the ninth installment of the project, is an artist active internationally, having performed with many artists such as MI-GU, THE CORNELIUS GROUP, and Yoko Ono. This time, a version of "leaf for fukushima," which he has performed at benefit concerts in the US, France, and Japan since the earthquake, has been released with added piano by Ryuichi Sakamoto and tabla (an Indian folk instrument) by U-Zhaan.

"This is a song I've played while asking participants to observe a moment of silence at the opening of benefit concerts. Even a small leaf can create ripples when it falls on water. Though my contribution may be small, I will continue to support Fukushima," Shimmy commented.

The work can be downloaded by making a donation of 1,000 yen per unit via PayPal. The entire amount collected, excluding payment processing fees, will be donated to support "medical care," "children," "food," "housing," and "energy," with donation recipients being reviewed and decided as needed based on the current situation. Furthermore, since October 1st, the donation category for "children" has been changed to the "Children's Music Revival Fund," which supports musical activities in disaster-stricken areas by repairing and providing instruments to educational institutions whose instruments were rendered unusable by the earthquake.
