Adidas, an official partner of the Yomiuri Giants, has been running the “Defeat” campaign since the start of this season, supporting the Giants in their pursuit of their long-awaited championship after a three-year drought with passionate dedication. The campaign’s concept is: “What the perennial champion Yomiuri Giants need is to ‘defeat’ their own personal bests.” The documentary “Movie GIANTS” was created to more deeply convey the attitude and expressions of the players as they face challenges once again as contenders.





The film stars Tetsuya Uchiumi, the Giants’ undisputed ace. The cameras follow the players as they struggle, suffer, and continue to challenge themselves to break through their limits and reclaim the title of Japan’s best. After the games at Tokyo Dome from August 8th to 10th, a pep rally will be held to unite the players and fans for the remaining games of the second half of the season, aiming for the championship. Attendees can watch “Movie GIANTS” on specially installed screens on the field and in the stands.





The documentary delves into the efforts and struggles of the men destined for “perennial victory” behind their dazzling performances. Through this intimate portrayal of the players, fans can also unite their hearts and cheer on the Yomiuri Giants as they race towards the climax of the season.
