American Express and Hilton have launched the "Hilton Honors American Express® Card" and the "Hilton Honors American Express® Premium Card." Cardmembers can enjoy benefits such as complimentary breakfast and room upgrades during stays at Hilton properties, earn points on everyday shopping and Hilton usage, and receive additional perks like free night stays based on annual spending.

The "Hilton Honors American Express® Card" and "Hilton Honors American Express® Premium Card" are the first co-branded credit cards from American Express and Hilton to be offered in Japan, marking their first partnership outside the U.S. These cards offer a variety of benefits and services for stays at Hilton properties worldwide, in addition to earning Hilton Honors Bonus Points through everyday purchases and use of the cards at Hilton properties.

Upon enrollment in the "Hilton Honors American Express® Card," cardmembers receive Hilton Honors Gold status, a top-tier membership in the Hilton Honors program. This status includes benefits such as complimentary breakfast at all Hilton properties and room upgrades (subject to availability).

Members of the "Hilton Honors American Express® Premium Card" receive all the benefits of Gold status, plus the highest tier, Hilton Honors Diamond status, for those who spend ¥2 million or more within a calendar year (January to December). Diamond status includes access to Executive Lounges and guaranteed room reservations up to 48 hours before arrival. Additionally, new cardmembers can earn bonus points by spending ¥300,000 or more within the first three months of enrollment.

Furthermore, the cards are integrated with the Hilton Honors Bonus Points program. With the "Hilton Honors American Express® Card," cardmembers earn Hilton Honors Bonus Points for every ¥100 spent. This includes 3 points per ¥100 spent at Hilton properties (7 points for the Premium Card) and 2 points per ¥100 spent on everyday purchases (3 points for the Premium Card). Accumulated points can be redeemed for a variety of experiences, including stays at over 6,400 eligible hotels and resorts in 119 countries and regions, spa treatments, and dining.

Additionally, cardmembers receive a complimentary weekend night stay at any Hilton worldwide upon renewal. For the "Hilton Honors American Express® Card," one complimentary weekend night stay (subject to availability) is awarded with no hotel grade restrictions when the card is renewed after spending ¥1.5 million or more during the program year (*1).

The "Hilton Honors American Express® Premium Card" includes one complimentary weekend night stay upon annual renewal, with an additional night awarded if the cardmember spends ¥3 million or more during the program year (*1). These complimentary nights also have no hotel grade restrictions, making them ideal for extended stays, such as a workation at Conrad Tokyo.

Cardmembers also benefit from American Express's robust protection services, as well as complimentary access to domestic airport lounges. The "Hilton Honors American Express® Premium Card" further enhances this with comprehensive support, including smartphone insurance and compensation for flight delays.
