Feature: The Making of "Pirouette"
Crafting Tokyo's Future Through Food
In the early summer of 2014, Toranomon began to transform. The arrival of the large-scale complex "Toranomon Hills" redefined the area, previously known as a business district adjacent to Akasaka, Kasumigaseki, and Shimbashi, into a hub poised to shape Tokyo's future.
And this autumn, on the ground floor, the very gateway to Toranomon Hills, a new space emerges with a mission to illuminate Tokyo's future through food. Its name is "Pirouette." Over three installments, we will explore how Pirouette came to be and the future it envisions through its culinary offerings.

Chapter 1
Authenticity, Made Accessible.
What Paris Has, and Japan Lacks Today.
A group of collaborators, each with distinct expertise, has come together to create a place in Toranomon Hills that they themselves long to visit. The theme is casual chic: effortlessly comfortable and approachable, yet everything offered is of the highest quality and authenticity. What kind of culinary complex are they aiming for?
Chapter 2
From Source to Kitchen, Kitchen to Table.
Traveling Ingredients Connect People.
Pirouette aims to be a place where everyone can comfortably enjoy authentic experiences. This vision is brought to life through the cuisine crafted by M.O.F. (Meilleur Ouvrier de France) award-winning chef Eric Trochon, who serves as an advisor, and Head Chef Naoya Kobayashi, who works in the kitchen daily. We delve into the world of food they propose within the Pirouette space.
Chapter 3
Gourmands Who Know "Authenticity",
Experience "Pirouette" Firsthand.
On September 3rd (Wednesday), "Pirouette," an unprecedented culinary complex, opened its doors. In this final chapter, we invited discerning adults, familiar with OPENERS' standards of authenticity, to experience Pirouette ahead of time. We report on their impressions of the concept, space, and cuisine—the "axis of rotation" as perceived by our guests.
