1. The Zetter Townhouse Marylebone (Marylebone)

01

The Zetter, already known for two conceptual hotels in London, has opened its third property, The Zetter Townhouse Marylebone. Its signature bohemian atmosphere, creative cocktail menu, and equally impressive cuisine are all present. The theme is the estate of "Uncle Seymour, the eccentric," and within the Georgian building, 24 guest rooms have been meticulously art-directed. The premier suite occupies an entire floor and features an outdoor bathtub on the terrace.

2. The Bentley London (Kensington)

04

Despite the name, The Bentley London has no relation to the luxury car manufacturer. Housed in a Victorian building dating back to 1880 in South Kensington, The Bentley London is a stately hotel that upholds tradition. All guest rooms are spacious and exude luxury, embodying the very essence of historic London with their opulent finishes. With only 64 rooms, it offers a more intimate and distinctive experience than larger luxury hotels, which is perhaps Bentley's greatest charm.

Ham Yard Hotel is the latest and arguably the finest creation from the London-based Firmdale Group. In addition to its considerable size, it boasts retail spaces, a restaurant and lounge, a rooftop garden, and facilities in the basement including a 176-seat cinema and a four-lane bowling alley. The guest rooms, designed with Kit Kemp's unique flair, combine vibrant colors and patterns with funky antiques and stylish modern furniture, creating an unparalleled sense of modern luxury.

4. The London EDITION (Fitzrovia)

10

The London EDITION is part of the "EDITION" series, known as Marriott's boutique hotel brand. In London, partner Ian Schrager and Toronto-based Yabu Pushelberg handled the interior design. The public spaces feature a subtly postmodern design, drawing inspiration from various eras, from around 1835 when the building was a residence, to the present day. In contrast, the guest rooms are primarily in earth tones, with deep wood and contemporary furnishings creating a more modern ambiance.

5. Ace Hotel London Shoreditch (East End)

13

This marks Ace Hotel's first venture outside of the US, with the London project brought to life by a team of talented local creatives from the East End. The result, Ace Hotel London Shoreditch, combines Ace's signature casual cool with the authentic character of a seasoned London establishment. The loft-like spaces are adorned with vintage 1920s furniture, and while an American Ace might opt for wool army blankets, here, custom APC bedding provides an elegant finish.
