ABE DRIP ROASTERY, a specialty coffee roaster in Shibuya, Tokyo, previously open only for morning coffee, has extended its operating hours. The cafe is now open weekdays from 8 AM to 4 PM, and weekends and holidays from 10 AM to 6 PM.

ABE DRIP ROASTERY, a roastery that supplies coffee beans to about 10 eateries, including the cafe & bar "TAMEALS" within Shinagawa Station and the nostalgic bar "DEPOT" at Tokyo Station, has begun cafe operations.

Driven by a desire to "always provide delicious coffee that complements daily life," they refurbished and now use a direct-flame roaster from over 30 years ago. The beans, roasted directly over flame until the core is thoroughly cooked, develop a deep richness and aroma. Coffee brewed by hand from these beans has been popular as "morning coffee," available only from 8 AM to 11 AM on weekdays.

Now, ABE DRIP ROASTERY has decided to extend its operating hours on weekends, holidays, and weekdays. After 11 AM, the cafe will offer a selection of artisanal drinks, including hand-dripped specialty coffees, cafe lattes, and craft colas, all prepared using their in-house roasted beans, enjoyed within the cafe space alongside the roaster. They also plan to offer sweets made with their signature coffee.

ABE DRIP ROASTERY proposes a more luxurious way to enjoy coffee. With extended hours, it seems poised to become an even more familiar presence.
