Stellar Dining Series: A Celestial Feast by The Ritz-Carlton
Tokyo and Kyoto are renowned as two of the world's premier culinary capitals. How fortunate we are to live in Japan, a country that draws gourmands from across the globe. To indulge our already fortunate palates, an ultimate gastronomic event is on the horizon. This year marks the second iteration of the "Stellar Dining Series: A Celestial Feast by The Ritz-Carlton." From September 11 (Wed) to October 13 (Sun), 2019, across Asia's leading gastronomic hubs—Tokyo, Kyoto, and Guangzhou—chefs from seven The Ritz-Carlton hotels in Asia and Europe (in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Macau, and Spain's Abama) boasting a collective nine Michelin stars will collaborate to present an extraordinary dining experience. This grand event offers a culinary journey through the distinct food cultures of each city, featuring signature dishes and new creations crafted exclusively for this series.
Savor the Luxurious Ensemble of Star Chefs from Around the World
In Tokyo, guests can experience the "Vintage Krug Champagne Dinner" (Sept 12 (Thu), 6:00 PM–9:00 PM, ¥65,000 per person, excluding tax and service charge, with Champagne pairing), featuring seven innovative courses by Michelin-starred Chef Shintaro Miyazaki and Chief Sommelier Tamaru, paired with six vintages of Krug Champagne. Additionally, the "Six Hands Dinner" (Sept 13 (Fri) and 14 (Sat), 6:00 PM–9:00 PM, ¥48,000 per person, excluding tax and service charge, with wine pairing) presents a dream collaboration of three chefs—Er Lant Golostisa, Christophe Gilbert, and Shintaro Miyazaki—utilizing the finest ingredients across eight courses.
Kyoto offers the "Tempura Dinner: Evening Banquet" (Sept 18 (Wed) and 19 (Thu), two seatings: 5:30 PM–7:30 PM and 8:00 PM–10:00 PM, ¥30,000 for food only, ¥50,000 with wine pairing, excluding tax and service charge), by Michelin-starred Chef Kenji Fujimoto. Also available is the "Four Hands Dinner" (Sept 18 (Wed) and 19 (Thu), 7:30 PM–10:00 PM, ¥30,000 for food only, ¥50,000 with wine pairing, excluding tax and service charge), a fusion of Basque and Italian cuisine by Michelin-starred chefs Er Lant Golostisa and Katsuhito Inoue, featuring premium Kyoto vegetables such as Kamo eggplant and Manganji chili peppers.
This is, of course, just a glimpse of the program. The event also includes collaborations with star mixologists, sommeliers, and pâtissiers, offering Champagne brunches, exquisite afternoon teas showcasing artisanal techniques, handcrafted cocktail experiences, masterclasses, and workshops in each city.

We invite you to seize this opportunity to savor the distinguished creations of star chefs from around the world.
