On January 27th and 28th, Tatenokawa Brewery will host a pairing lunch and dinner event at the Italian restaurant "ISSEI YUASA," offering a chance to savor exquisite Japanese sake from Tatenokawa Brewery alongside Italian cuisine that highlights Yamagata ingredients.

Savoring Japanese Sake and Italian Cuisine: Rare Caviar, Exclusive to This Event

Tatenokawa Brewery has announced a lunch/dinner event in collaboration with "ISSEI YUASA," a Japanese-Italian restaurant led by Chef Issei Yuasa, who cherishes seasonal Japanese ingredients. The event will feature "SAKERISE," a sake brand brewed by Tatenokawa Brewery.
At "ISSEI YUASA," guests can experience dishes crafted with Chef Yuasa's discerning selection of ingredients, prepared using Italian culinary techniques to create unique, one-of-a-kind plates. For this event, a special menu featuring Yamagata ingredients will be offered, including dishes that incorporate sake rice and lees used by Tatenokawa Brewery.
A total of five types of Japanese sake will be served, primarily featuring "SAKERISE." These include Tatenokawa's "Gyoko" and "Senko," as well as "Tatenokawa Mugen Black," and two additional varieties specially prepared for this occasion. "SAKERISE" is a sake brand that embodies the climate, culture, and history of Yamagata. Enjoying it with Yamagata's local ingredients will allow guests to further appreciate the terroir.

Additionally, each guest will receive a special 15g bottle of "Haru Caviar," seasoned by Chef Yuasa exclusively for this event. Haru Caviar is a rare delicacy not typically available for retail purchase. Attendees can anticipate not only the exquisite marriage of Italian cuisine and SAKERISE, but also the unique pairing of Chef Yuasa's seasoned Haru Caviar with Japanese sake, an experience only possible at this event.
