Champagne house Moët & Chandon has announced the release of "Moët Impérial DESIGN BY AMBUSH," a bottle created in collaboration with YOON, the designer behind AMBUSH.

Moët & Chandon has announced its first-ever global collaboration with YOON, the acclaimed fashion designer known for her innovative designs. This partnership aims to showcase YOON's avant-garde creativity while expressing the Maison's commitment to living in harmony with nature and conveying a message to future generations.
YOON is the co-founder and creative director of the fashion brand AMBUSH, based in Tokyo. This collaboration is infused with a shared spirit of rule-breaking innovation between YOON and the Maison, a deep respect for preserving heritage craftsmanship rooted in history, and a desire to contribute to nature conservation through contemporary creations.
The design reimagines the bottle of "Moët Impérial," the Maison's signature champagne with over 150 years of history, characterized by its vibrant fruitiness, alluring palate, and elegant maturity.
For this iconic bottle, YOON infused her minimalist aesthetic, transforming the neck's color from gold to jet black. This creates a striking contrast with the embossed pure white label, resulting in a unique design. The white label, evoking a fresh start, represents "a window to a future that anyone can forge."
YOON commented, "Given that it's such an iconic and universally recognized bottle, this collaboration was a significant challenge. At the same time, it was a wonderful opportunity to imbue this iconic champagne with my vision of beauty."
In keeping with Moët & Chandon's tradition of sharing, which dates back to the Maison's founding in 1743, a portion of the proceeds from "Moët Impérial DESIGN BY AMBUSH" will be donated to the World Land Trust, an international charity dedicated to protecting endangered natural environments.
This initiative will support efforts to protect rare and endangered species and their habitats within forest areas of Ecuador's Canandé Reserve, an area rich in biodiversity comparable to the Amazon rainforest.
The collection will be available for a limited time from Friday, March 26, 2021, to Sunday, April 4, 2021, at a concept shop opening in Tokyo, followed by a staggered release in select department stores nationwide starting in early April.
