Dishes Inspired by Iconic Cars
The world's first bistro, based on a concept from Porsche AG in Germany, has opened in Ginza.
The Momentum by Porsche is an all-day dining establishment for adults captivated by Porsche. It offers everything from authentic grilled dishes that highlight the natural flavors of ingredients to alcoholic beverages, all within a space designed to embody Porsche's philosophy.
The interior features a modern, stylish design with Porsche's brand colors, white and black, as its base. Race photographs, books about Porsche, and helmets are displayed, and each pendant light hanging from the ceiling incorporates a miniature Porsche car, adding a playful touch.
The menu includes lunch sets starting from ¥2,000, and for dinner, a ¥6,500 course menu and à la carte options are available. Guests can enjoy the pure taste of vegetables sourced directly from farmers and authentic grilled dishes, showcasing the finest ingredients and the chef's skill.
The menu also features dishes and drinks inspired by iconic cars. The original cocktails are named after Porsche's latest crossover SUV, the "Macan," with non-alcoholic versions available for drivers. The "Macan Turbo" offers an energy drink with an alcoholic boost. Additionally, lunch sets include items like the "Steak Sandwich '911'," playfully appealing to fans with their naming.
For after-meal coffee, the bistro serves a unique blend selected by Yoshiaki Kawashima, owner of "Micafèto" (with cafes worldwide) and known as a "coffee hunter." Three types are available: "Light," "Dark," and "Single Original." Of course, guests are welcome to enjoy just coffee and tea without a full meal.
Additionally, special menus and drinks are reportedly available for Porsche owners.
The Momentum by Porsche allows guests to experience Porsche through its ambiance and cuisine. It promises to be a new "pit stop" brimming with charm, appealing not only to Porsche fans but to all.
