A Gucci aesthetic experience bar opens in Osaka.

GUCCI | GUCCI GIARDINO

Gucci has opened a new bar, "Gucci Giardino Osaka," in the heart of Osaka's Umeda district. This is the second store of its kind in the world, following "Gucci Giardino" in Florence, Italy. Offering original cocktails and food that blend Gucci's worldview with Italian culture and Japanese sensibility, it is designed as a space where guests can experience the maison's aesthetic through all five senses.

An Original Worldview with a Delicate Mix of Japanese Sensibility

Gucci Giardino opened in 2022 in Piazza della Signoria, home to "Gucci Palazzo" in Florence, Italy. It has captivated visitors as an all-day cafe and cocktail bar with two distinct faces: a relaxed atmosphere during the day and a vibrant ambiance from evening into the night.
Gucci Giardino Osaka, which opened in November 2024 concurrently with the renovation and reopening of "Gucci Osaka," is the second store worldwide after Florence. The space is designed to fuse Italian elegance with contemporary Japanese sensibility, offering a different experience from the Florence location.
Spanning approximately 109 square meters, the interior features a reception area with a calm ambiance, a main bar with a bar counter and table seating, and private rooms for guests seeking a more intimate experience.
Additionally, there is a unique space within the bar called "The Laboratory," where guests can enjoy pairings of mixology and bar food that artfully blend Italian and Japanese flavors. The interior design is based on Gucci's signature color, "Gucci Rosso Ancora (deep red)," with generously spaced Made in Italy sofas and furniture. Japanese aesthetics are also incorporated into the spatial design in a refined manner.
The cocktails are curated by experienced mixologist Sebastian Vega. Alongside classic Italian bar staples like Negroni and Spritz, the menu features original cocktails inspired by the rich traditions of both Italy and Japan. Sebastian Vega's original creations are works that fuse a deep respect for Italian and Japanese traditions with a spirit of innovation. They offer more than just a combination of ingredients; they are an experience of the art of mixology through a journey of flavors and aromas.
Osaka Amore
A creamy and complex cocktail expressing love for Italian culture and Japanese ingredients. It features a delicate fusion of "Tsukino Kura" sake, cherry blossoms, Hokkaido fresh cream, and osmanthus essence.

Seba's Amalfi Journey
A cocktail that invites you on a journey through the bar manager's homeland, Chile, Italy, and Japan. It masterfully blends Pisco made from 100% Muscat grapes from the Andes with Amalfi Coast limoncello and yuzu essence.

Ikigai NEET
A drink based on "Hibiki," a representative Japanese whisky, harmonizing the natural blessings of Nara with Uji matcha. Enjoyed straight or on the rocks, it inspires contemplation of one's own "ikigai" (reason for being).
Gucci Giardino offers a space where guests can enjoy relaxed moments over cocktails or experience exciting pairings at "The Laboratory." It is a place where Gucci's aesthetic and world-class hospitality converge, allowing visitors to experience a creative journey while feeling a deep respect for Japanese traditions.
In addition, signature cocktails also served at "Gucci Giardino" in Florence, Italy, as well as original mocktails (non-alcoholic cocktails) are available.
Furthermore, in collaboration with the Kyoto brewery Masuda Tokubei Shoten, Gucci is offering a limited edition 30-year-old vintage sake, "Tsukino Kura 30 Year Vintage." This special item is characterized by notes of caramel, dark chocolate, and woodiness, offering a harmony within its complexity. It evokes the unhurried flow of time in Kyoto, a city with a long tradition, far from the hustle and bustle of urban life.
The food menu is equally impressive. Alongside the signature "Emilia Burger" from Gucci's renowned Italian restaurant "Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura," the bar serves unique dishes that are creative interpretations of casual favorites beloved in both Japan and Italy.
Bagna Cauda
Inspired by the elegant colors of Kyoto, this dish features potato salad and fresh vegetables served with a creamy dip made from tofu.

Soba Carbonara
Soba noodles are transformed into a Roman carbonara in this unique rendition, using kombu and Pecorino cheese.

Gyoza Bolognese
A fusion dish of Japan and Italy, featuring wagyu beef wrapped in pasta, served with Bolognese sauce, Parmesan cream, and basil sauce.

Citronate Karaage
A delightful harmony of crispy fried chicken and a refreshing sauce made with Italian lemon.

Matcha Tiramisu
A new interpretation of tiramisu, using Uji matcha and white chocolate.
"Gucci Giardino Osaka" offers a unique space where Italian and Japanese cultures merge beautifully, providing a sophisticated experience. The fusion of mixology that embodies tradition and innovation, appealing food pairings, and Gucci's signature luxurious hospitality create a new bar culture in the heart of Osaka. We invite you to experience a moment that can only be found here, a tapestry woven by Italy and Japan, all while immersing yourself in Gucci's aesthetic.
