The Acclaimed Flavors of Three-Michelin-Starred Chef Heinz Beck Finally Arrive in Japan

Heinz Beck, a 51-year-old German native, has long been a vanguard of "modern cuisine," celebrated as a genius for his ability to conjure entirely new tastes from meticulously selected ingredients. He currently oversees five restaurants worldwide, including the three-Michelin-starred "La Pergola" in Rome, as well as establishments in London and Dubai. For the past 15 years, he has also been a pioneer in the field of "gastronomy and health," collaborating with international scholars on research into the impact of food on the human body, driven by a profound passion for creating dishes that are both delicious and beneficial for well-being.

At the fine dining establishment 'HEINZ BECK', guests can savor the original menu that has earned acclaim from gourmands worldwide at "La Pergola," alongside new creations exclusive to Tokyo. The experience promises an artistic and sublime culinary journey.

Meanwhile, 'sensi by Heinz Beck' captivates with its open, airy ambiance, characterized by a soaring 6.5-meter atrium and expansive glass walls. The name "sensi," derived from the Italian word for "senses" and "sensibility," reflects the desire for guests to fully immerse themselves in the experience through sight, sound, and taste. This all-day dining venue offers refined, contemporary Italian cuisine.

The restaurant offers two course menus for lunch (¥2,600 and ¥3,700) and dinner (¥4,500 and ¥7,000), as well as à la carte selections, providing an accessible way to enjoy the three-Michelin-starred chef's creations. During tea time, guests can indulge in light bites and desserts accompanied by beverages.

Both restaurants boast exceptional design: Junko Koshino, a leading Japanese designer, helmed the costume design, while Kanji Ueki, who previously designed the interior for the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, oversaw the architectural design. These elements contribute to an immersive dining environment befitting Beck's culinary artistry. Whether seeking a specific occasion or a particular mood, one is invited to step into the world of gastronomy crafted by Chef Beck.
