Portland's Popular Restaurant "navarre" Makes its Japan Debut
Lifestyle brand "niko and..." has opened its flagship store, "niko and... TOKYO," on Harajuku's Meiji Street on Thursday, October 30th. On the second floor, Portland's popular restaurant "navarre," making its Japan debut, will open.

Fresh Vegetables Sourced from Trusted Farms with Transparent Production
"navarre," a restaurant that Portland foodies invariably name as a local favorite, opened in 2002. The "farm to table" style, established by owner-chef John Taborda, which serves dishes made with fresh vegetables sourced from farms, has captivated many Portlanders.
The first Japan location will also offer exquisite flavors that maximize the ingredients' appeal, including the "Organic Green Salad" and the signature "navarre Chicken." Enjoy seasonal ingredients paired with a wide selection of wines.
"niko and... TOKYO," opening with full-scale global expansion in mind, is based on the concept of "a store edited like a magazine, with features and series." In addition to an "editorial space" that changes its theme every 45 to 60 days, it will offer apparel, miscellaneous goods, furniture, and bicycle rental services as ongoing content.
