Shanghai Tang, a global luxury brand originating from Hong Kong, a city where Eastern and Western cultures converge, has been proposing Chinese chic since 1994. The brand holds an annual trunk show at Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo, showcasing its Autumn/Winter 2014 collection from Thursday, September 25 to Sunday, September 28.

"Piacere," meaning "pleasure" in Italian, is the signature restaurant of Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo, offering simple yet creative contemporary Italian cuisine by a chef from Tuscany.

At the "Shanghai Tang at Piacere" lunch and fashion show, guests will enjoy a four-course contemporary Italian lunch by Chef Paolo Pelosi after viewing Shanghai Tang's Autumn/Winter 2014 collection fashion show, themed "The Striking Allure of Contemporary New York."

The appetizer, pasta, and main course will be modern Italian dishes using seasonal ingredients, allowing guests to fully savor Chef Pelosi's culinary artistry. For dessert, guests will be served sweets inspired by Shanghai Tang's Autumn/Winter 2014 collection, paired with Perrier-Jouët, a prestige champagne with over 200 years of history, hailed as "the jewel of champagne." Three types of Perrier-Jouët champagne by the glass will be offered: Grand Brut, Blason Rosé, and Belle Epoque Blanc 2006.
