Ardbeg Pop-Up Bar Opens in Ginza
The pop-up bar "ARDBEG SPACE BAR on Planet Peat," where you can enjoy single malt whisky "Ardbeg," will be open from Tuesday, August 26th to Sunday, September 14th at "B.E. HOUSE HIBIYA Bar" in Ginza.

A Space-Themed Experience, From Ambiance to Cocktails
Ardbeg, originating from the Isle of Islay in Scotland, is currently conducting a space experiment on the ISS (International Space Station) as "the first whisky to travel to space."
This project is an Ardbeg-esque, fantastically imaginative and dream-filled experiment to understand the influence of gravity on whisky barrel aging by observing and comparing how whisky matures in zero gravity with the Ardbeg distillery under terrestrial gravity. And in September, Ardbeg, having completed this mission, will finally return to Earth. During this pop-up bar, the space will be themed around a peat planet, representing Ardbeg's peatiness and the space experiment.
In addition to comparative tastings of Ardbeg's three standard products, a "Blind Tasting Challenge Campaign" will be held where you can sample a limited new product to be revealed on Monday, September 1st. Furthermore, dynamic cocktails based on Ardbeg, developed in collaboration with Hibiya Bar, and original smoked dishes that pair well with Ardbeg will also be available.
The cocktails include items with fun, space-themed names and appearances, such as "Planet Peat," which offers a crackling sound like burning peat; "Peat Charge," with packaging reminiscent of space food; and the punch cocktail "Bill's Islay Galaxy" for sharing among many.
Additionally, a campaign to guess the name of the limited new product is currently underway on the Ardbeg Japan Facebook page until Sunday, August 31st.
