Coffee Bean Specialty Store "TORIBA COFFEE" Opens

Not a cafe, not a coffee shop, but a place offering coffee beans that taste delicious no matter who brews them or how.TORIBA COFFEE -Boutique Coffee Roaster-, a new specialty coffee bean store in Ginza 7-chome, offers a "life of coffee enjoyment" with six types of coffee beans: five blends and one from their own Hawaiian Kona farm.

Commitment to Coffee Beans Directly Linked to Flavor

Within a space designed to evoke the enjoyment of coffee, "TORIBA COFFEE Boutique Coffee Roaster" offers a curated selection of items related to coffee, from everyday brews to gifts for loved ones, including elegant coffee accessories and message cards to accompany them.

The store features three roasters on the second floor, where beans from around the world are optimally roasted before being sold on the first floor. A climate-controlled warehouse in the basement ensures green beans are stored in peak condition, demonstrating a meticulous dedication to coffee beans that directly impacts their flavor.

The third floor houses a lab for researching brewing methods with the latest espresso machine (LA CIMBALI M100) and various brewing techniques. Plans are underway to host irregular coffee study groups.

The Six Flavors Behind TORIBA COFFEE

The "100% Pure Hawaiian Kona" from their own farm offers a genuine Kona experience with a complexity rarely found in single-origin coffees. Also available are the "Blue Mountain Blend," luxuriously crafted with the finest Blue Mountain beans; the "Mild Blend," designed for timeless appeal; the "Hawaiian Kona Blend," maximizing the unique taste of Kona; the "Dark Roast Blend," a deep, European-style roast suitable for espresso; and the "Light Roast Blend," offering an invigorating aroma and distinctive flavor.

The graphic design, including the logo, was handled by Taku Satoh (Taku Satoh Design Office), and the interior design by Ryu Kosaka (A.N.D.). The TORIBA COFFEE logo, a white line etched onto a red background, symbolizes the support of the six groups involved in the coffee journey: producers, processors, transporters, roasters, brewers, and those who enjoy coffee.
