Charity Dinner 'TOMONI 2014 ~Together~' for the Great East Japan Earthquake
A charity dinner, 'TOMONI 2014 ~Together~,' organized by seven French chefs active in Tokyo to support children in Tohoku, will be held on Wednesday, March 26th, at Hyatt Regency Tokyo.

Great East Japan EarthquakeShortly after the Great East Japan Earthquake, French chefs based in Tokyo began holding the charity dinner 'TOMONI' to support children in Tohoku. In addition, French and Japanese chefs have joined forces for energetic activities such as 'Caravan Bon Appétit,' where they travel to various parts of Tohoku about once a month to offer delicious French cuisine.
Now, in the spring of its third year, the charity dinner 'TOMONI' will be held once again, with the heartfelt wish that 'this disaster will not be forgotten.'
Participating chefs include Alain Verzeroli from 'Shigeru Joël Robuchon,' Guillaume Bracaval from 'Cuisine[s] Michel Troisgros,' and Lionel Beccat from 'es'quisse,' among other distinguished chefs who showcase their skills at top-tier restaurants. This will create a dreamlike occasion where guests can savor a collection of dishes prepared with heartfelt dedication by these culinary masters.
Furthermore, the entire amount of proceeds, after deducting costs, will be donated to the 'Children's Future Fund for the Great East Japan Earthquake.' These funds will be used to ensure that children in Tohoku who lost their parents in the disaster can continue their education with peace of mind.
Even in a foreign land far from their homeland, these chefs dedicate themselves to charity using their culinary talents. The moving courses created through their synergy, and the joyful time spent appreciating fine wines, will contribute to restoring 'happy times' for children who lost their parents due to the earthquake.
