Ruinart Food for Art Dinner in KYOTO: Kyoto's First Culinary Collaboration
A three-day event, "Ruinart Food for Art Dinner in KYOTO," will offer a unique pairing of Ruinart champagne with exquisite cuisine. Collaborating with Kyoto's renowned ryotei and restaurants, the event promises three nights of special culinary experiences. It will be held from Wednesday, September 23rd to Friday, September 25th, 2020.

A Three-Day Exclusive During KYOTOGRAPHIE
Champagne Maison Ruinart's "Food For Art" program, launched in 2019, makes its Kyoto debut as "Ruinart Food for Art Dinner in KYOTO."
The "Food For Art" initiative by Maison Ruinart, a supporter of art and artists, aims to bridge the creative worlds of gastronomy and art.
Each year, the program features a trio comprising a collaborating artist, a chef, and Ruinart's Cellar Master, Frédéric Panaiotis. It fosters relationships with artists and encourages chefs to create inspired dishes.
"Ruinart Food for Art Dinner in KYOTO" will take place over three nights during "KYOTOGRAPHIE," an event Ruinart has sponsored since 2016. Each night will feature a different restaurant and culinary style, emphasizing ingredient harmony.
On the first night, guests can savor kaiseki cuisine from "Kyoto Cuisine Honke Tanabe," a ryotei established in 1928, served on a traditional納涼床 (noryo-yuka) dining platform. A rare vintage, Dom Ruinart 2006, will be exclusively available on this evening.
The second night features "Gohan Dokoro Tsurroku," known for its healthy and delicious meals that highlight seasonal flavors.
The third night offers a taste of Chinese gastronomy with delicate yet innovative dishes created by Chef Iwashaki of "VELROSIER."
This year's collaborating artist is David Shrigley, whose work for the event is themed 'Unconventional Bubbles.'
The pairings of Ruinart with the cuisine are truly "unconventional." This event offers a unique experience, with menus specially created for the occasion. We highly encourage you to attend.
