Two Days Only! Collaboration Lunch & Dinner Event



Keisuke Matsushima, the "young genius chef" who earned a Michelin star at the young age of 28 in 2006, is joining forces with Shinichiro Takagi, the master of Kanazawa's Nihonryori "Zeniya." They will host a collaboration lunch and dinner titled "NICE x KANAZAWA" at Restaurant "I."

A Fusion of Kanazawa and Nice's Distinct Cultures


The two have deepened their friendship since being invited as Japanese chefs to the World Gourmet Summit in Singapore in 2011, leading to this collaboration. For this event, Chef Shinichiro Takagi will use ingredients from Nice, while Chef Keisuke Matsushima will create dishes using ingredients from Kanazawa and the Hokuriku region. A course menu, including original dishes created by both chefs, will be offered for lunch and dinner.

The event will be held for two days only, November 14th (Thursday) and November 15th (Friday). Guests who bring their own guinomi (sake cup) will receive a complimentary glass of sake.



Furthermore, on the evening of November 15th (Friday), a SAKE Samurai Dinner will be held, featuring Yūki Aoi, a freelance announcer and the 6th generation SAKE Samurai.



Paired with the "NICE x KANAZAWA" cuisine, guests can enjoy Hokuriku sake selected by Yūki Aoi, including "Zuisho" from Fukumitsuya in Ishikawa Prefecture, "Chōha Daiginjo" from Kazuma Shuzo, and "Tengu Mai" from Shata Shuzo.
Before the dinner, a talk session with Chefs Keisuke Matsushima and Shinichiro Takagi, along with Yūki Aoi, is scheduled. It promises to be an unforgettable evening for sake enthusiasts.
