A tribute to the delicate palate of Japan
"Chivas Regal Mizunara Special Edition" is a masterpiece from Scotland, crafted with respect and dedicated to the delicate palate of the Japanese people.
Chivas Regal's Master Blender, Colin Scott. For this blend, he meticulously selected the finest single malt and grain whiskies, aged for over 12 years, to create a special blend perfectly suited to Japanese tastes. By marrying a portion of this blend in Mizunara casks, oak native to Japan, a completely new "Chivas blend" with perfect balance was born.
It is extremely rare for Chivas Regal to develop a product specifically for a particular country and its people. The inspiration for this unique bottling came when Mr. Scott visited Japan and was deeply impressed by the craftsmanship and high level of skill in Japanese whisky production, which instilled in him a profound respect.
Using Mizunara casks, typically employed in Japanese whisky production, for Scotch whisky is uncommon. "Chivas Regal Mizunara Special Edition" offers the signature smoothness and richness of Chivas Regal that captivates Japanese whisky enthusiasts, enhanced by a subtle, sophisticated aroma of Mizunara oak's spicy notes.
Delicate yet surprisingly sweet and smooth. We invite you to savor this special taste, crafted exclusively for the Japanese palate.
