A Luxurious Burger Dressed in Gold Leaf
In celebration of the new era name "Reiwa," Grand Hyatt Tokyo is offering a luxurious burger. This burger is made with an abundance of premium ingredients. A giant burger designed for sharing among several people, as well as a regular size for individual enjoyment, are available. The offer runs until Sunday, June 30, 2019.

A Giant Burger for Sharing and a Regular Size for Individual Enjoyment
To commemorate the enthronement of the new Emperor and the commencement of the new era, Grand Hyatt Tokyo is presenting a luxurious burger at its steakhouse, "Oak Door."
The lineup includes two types: the "Golden Giant Burger," designed for 6-8 people to share, and the "Golden 'R' Burger," a regular-sized option for one. Both feature premium ingredients such as Japanese Black beef, foie gras, and truffles, sandwiched between buns dusted with gold leaf.
The Golden Giant Burger measures 25 cm in diameter and 15 cm in height, with a total weight of approximately 3 kg. Its impressive visual impact is matched by its satisfying volume. It is a lavish burger topped with US Prime beef patties, domestic fruit tomatoes, rich cheddar cheese, and an aioli sauce that perfectly complements the meat.
Additionally, guests can choose a magnum bottle of their preferred champagne, red wine, or white wine.
The Golden 'R' Burger uses the exact same ingredients as the giant burger, offering a luxurious taste to be savored by individuals.
Patrick Shimada, the Executive Chef at Oak Door, commented, "As a fourth-generation Japanese-American, I am deeply honored to be working in Japan at this exciting time of imperial transition and a new era. To contribute to this occasion, I wanted to do something special and conceived this burger. I hope our guests can enjoy this special celebration of Japan's changing era with their loved ones, sharing this giant burger made with traditional ingredients like gold leaf."
