The 2018 Special Limited Box: A Selection of Four Single-Origin Coffees

A "single-origin coffee" refers to coffee made exclusively from beans selected from a single country of origin. Among these, coffee cultivated on a single island within a country is called "Island Coffee," while coffee produced solely on a single estate is known as "Estate Coffee."

The "Explorations 2018" limited box features a total of four special coffees: two rare Island Coffees, "Galapagos Santa Cruz" and "Republica Dominicana Valle del Cibao," and two Estate Coffees, "Nicaragua La Marias" and "India Milekudru."

"Galapagos Santa Cruz" is a coffee characterized by its well-balanced, full-bodied taste reminiscent of sweet grains, a result of the climate on Santa Cruz Island in the Galapagos archipelago and its unique ecosystem and cultivation practices. "Republica Dominicana Valle del Cibao" offers a fresh aroma of blue fruits and nuts, with a rich, satisfying flavor.

Nurtured by the beautiful, fertile lands of Nicaragua, shaped by its lakes and volcanoes, "Nicaragua La Marias" boasts a fruity aroma and a balanced, mellow taste. "India Milekudru" is a coffee cultivated at the "Milekudru Estate," rumored to be the very first place coffee was grown in India over 300 years ago, offering aromas of grains and toasted bread crust.

The "Explorations 2018" limited box, offering four distinct flavors nurtured by the unique environments and the expertise of producers from different regions, is available at Nespresso boutiques nationwide and the Nespresso Mini Ginza store.
