Celebrate the New Year with the Traditional Galette des Rois

At Beige Alain Ducasse Tokyo, the restaurant where the worlds of Chanel and Alain Ducasse converge, the traditional New Year's pastry, Galette des Rois, has made its return. Until Sunday, January 27th, guests will be served a galette as a petit four after their meal, with a special gift awaiting anyone who finds the ceramic fève (small figurine) inside.

A Chance to Win Luxurious Prizes if You Find the Fève

In France, the Galette des Rois is a traditional pastry shared among family to celebrate the New Year, with the belief that whoever finds the fève will be blessed with good fortune for the year. This cherished tradition is recreated at Beige Alain Ducasse Tokyo.

This year's galette features Chanel's iconic camellia motif. A single fève, shaped like a Chanel button, is hidden within each cake – an original creation for this occasion.

Guests who find the fève in the Galette des Rois served after lunch or dinner will receive a complimentary glass of champagne and five Chanel button chocolates. Furthermore, a lottery will be held at the end of January among those who found a fève, with 12 winners receiving prizes such as a Valentine's special dinner gift certificate, a lunch gift certificate, or bottles of "Sélection Alain Ducasse" champagne and "Hana-Sakae Alain Ducasse Selection" sake.
