A special event is being held to celebrate the first anniversary of the "Iittala X Issey Miyake" home collection. The collection will be available for a special sale at ELTTOB TEP ISSEY MIYAKE/GINZA, and a course menu inspired by the collection will be offered at the neo-bistro "&éclé" in Minami Aoyama. The event runs from Tuesday, March 7 to Friday, March 31, 2017.

A Home Collection to Enrich Your Life

The "Iittala X Issey Miyake" home collection, a collaboration between Finland's renowned tableware brand "iittala" and Issey Miyake, is celebrating its first anniversary with a special event.

The "Iittala X Issey Miyake" home collection makes its debut at ELTTOB TEP ISSEY MIYAKE/GINZA. While the collection has been available at 14 iittala shops nationwide since its launch in February 2016, this marks a special sale at ELTTOB TEP ISSEY MIYAKE/GINZA.

Additionally, bags from Iittala X Issey Miyake, highly anticipated in Japan, will be available for pre-sale. These unisex bags, characterized by their distinctive design, come in three colors: ivory, emerald, and dark gray.

Crafted using Issey Miyake's unique and advanced pleating techniques, these bags achieve a perfect balance of functionality and aesthetics. Their foldable design makes them ideal for travel. The handles are made of durable cowhide, ensuring longevity. When worn over the shoulder, the sharp vertical lines are accentuated, making them a versatile accessory that complements both casual and formal styles.

Furthermore, at the neo-bistro "&éclé" in Minami Aoyama, Tokyo, a limited-time menu created by chef Olivier Rodriguez, inspired by the ceramic and textile items from the "Iittala X Issey Miyake" home collection, will be offered.

This is a special opportunity to enjoy the Iittala X Issey Miyake collaboration alongside beautiful dishes created with the chef's high-level techniques that bring out the natural flavors of the ingredients, and exquisite table coordination. The menu is available in two courses: a 5900 yen course and a 6900 yen course. Both menus embody Olivier's fundamental philosophy of simple, beautifully presented dishes that cherish the inherent taste of the ingredients.
