Two Champagnes Adorned with Artistic Labels

Dom Pérignon is a vintage Champagne crafted exclusively from high-quality grapes harvested in a single year. Throughout its lifecycle, the Champagne reaches three peaks of maturation, known as "Plénitudes." The first Plénitude requires at least eight years of aging in the cellar, culminating in a globally acclaimed Champagne.

To express Dom Pérignon's world of "transformation" over time, a collaboration was realized with German contemporary artist Michael Riedel, who favors "transformation" in his creative process.

He, who values the "beauty" found in new ideas for abstraction and the process of continuous evolution, intuitively expressed Dom Pérignon's uniqueness, distinctiveness, and rich flavor. His artistic creations adorn the gift box and bottle labels.

Michael Riedel
A contemporary artist whose work shows an affinity for Pop Art and Appropriation Art, yet distinguishes itself from the mechanical reproduction and superficial resemblance of previous generations by engaging with the aesthetic possibilities arising from digitalization. His solo and group exhibitions have been held at renowned institutions across Europe and America, including the Braunschweig Kunstverein, Hamburg Kunstverein, Städel Museum, Museum Folkwang, and Tate Modern. From 2013 to 2015, he presented site-specific installations three times at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris.
