Mercedes' Second Event Initiative

"Mercedes-Benz Connection NEXTDOOR" is a brand information hub by Mercedes-Benz, which opened in February this year, featuring a cafe and restaurant. It's an event-based brand experience facility established in the adjacent space to "Mercedes-Benz Connection." The first event, "SUV EXPERIENCE," held from February to May 2016, attracted over 2,500 visitors who enjoyed test drives on an authentic off-road course.

As the second event, "YEBISU MEISTER inspires Mercedes-Benz Connection NEXTDOOR The TERRACE" has opened. This is a full-service beer terrace where guests can enjoy drinks and more.

The Terrace is a collaboration with "Yebisu," a premium beer brand offered by Sapporo Beer. "Yebisu Meister" will be served in special tumblers. Yebisu Meister is described by Sapporo Beer as "boasting a rich aroma and refined body," and is the pinnacle of the Yebisu brand. The Terrace also offers authentic cuisine that pairs perfectly with Yebisu Meister.


Furthermore, the premises, constructed with a wooden deck, feature a waterside area, offering a sense of openness akin to visiting a resort, even in the heart of the city.

This collaboration, seemingly a contrast between alcohol and cars, was initiated by both companies recognizing that both cars and drinks enrich people's lifestyles. It was realized through the shared concept of "Drive or Drink" – "If you drink, don't drive. If you drive, don't drink." – aiming for coexistence between cars and alcohol.

Additionally, on weekends and holidays, the "MOUNTAIN CLIMB" experience will be offered, where guests can test drive Mercedes SUVs on a course with a maximum gradient of approximately 45 degrees and a maximum height of about 9 meters, which was popular during the first event, "SUV EXPERIENCE." We encourage you to experience the allure of SUVs before enjoying alcoholic beverages.
