Nespresso Boutique Osaka Shinsaibashi Opens

Nespresso Boutiques, with over 200 stores in major cities worldwide and 17 within department stores in Japan, have opened their third Osaka location: Nespresso Boutique Osaka Shinsaibashi.

The Allure of "Premium Portion Coffee" for a Globally Consistent Nespresso Experience

To savor a special cup, Nespresso Boutiques offer the experience of 16 Grand Cru varieties, each with distinct characteristics and aromas. These are the coffee capsules familiar from George Clooney's commercials, delivering a smooth crema, rich aroma, delicate taste, and a pleasant aftertaste. This is the experience you can enjoy at a Nespresso Boutique.

The Osaka Shinsaibashi store is a street-level boutique. Inside, there's an area showcasing various coffee machines, a coffee counter where you can visually appreciate the 16 coffee varieties, and another area displaying accessories that enhance the coffee time, including original demitasse cups. They propose ways to enjoy coffee that suit individual lifestyles.

The boutique also features a dedicated tasting counter. This counter is in a standing style, reminiscent of Italian bars, where "Coffee Specialists," knowledgeable about coffee and recipes, will guide you to the perfect coffee based on your preferences. You can also sample espressos and cappuccinos served in original cups.

Limited Edition Coffee "KAZAAR"

The limited edition "KAZAAR" (pronounced Ka-zar), launching on January 25th (Wednesday), is crafted from a blend of two Robusta and one Arabica variety from Central and South America, meticulously roasted. It strikes a perfect balance with its striking bitterness, spicy aroma, and a rich, smooth texture, leaving a powerful aftertaste.

Nespresso's 16 standard Grand Cru coffees are rated up to 10 for intensity, but KAZAAR surpasses this with a rating of "12." Its concentrated flavor is best enjoyed as an espresso (25ml). Adding milk transforms it into something new, with notes reminiscent of burnt caramel.

Originally released as a limited edition in 2010, "KAZAAR" was so well-received for its robust flavor that it has returned as the first limited edition coffee of 2012.
