A Time-Travel to Islay in 2215 on Event Day

In Scotland's Islay, the "Islay Whisky Festival," a celebration of whisky and music, takes place annually during the last week of May. Throughout this period, each distillery hosts an "Open Day" on a rotating schedule, welcoming passionate malt fans. Ardbeg concludes this festival. Since 2012, this day has been designated "Ardbeg Day," with events held worldwide to celebrate with fans.

This year, marking Ardbeg's 200th anniversary, the event is held to express gratitude to the devoted Ardbeg fans, affectionately known as "Ardbegians," who have supported the brand, and to celebrate Ardbeg's future for the next 200 years.

On the day, a new limited edition product created to commemorate the 200th anniversary will be unveiled in Japan for the first time. Attendees will have the chance to sample it before anyone else, and innovative service tools proposing novel ways to enjoy whisky in the future will be introduced. DJ NORI, a pioneer who has influenced the global dance music scene and laid the foundation for NY club culture, will be the DJ, energizing the venue with a playlist themed around the year 2215.

Through the taste of the limited edition Ardbeg, entirely new ways of enjoying it, and the music, the event will create an atmosphere as if one has time-traveled 200 years into the future.

It promises to be a special night celebrating the birthday of Ardbeg, which will undoubtedly continue to exist as the ultimate Islay malt, unchanged, even 200 years from now.
