The Ritz-Carlton, Kyoto's "Sakura Promotion" to Enjoy Kyoto's Cherry Blossom Season

The Ritz-Carlton, Kyoto is launching a spring-limited promotion themed around "cherry blossoms." Plans to fully enjoy the spring in the ancient capital include "SAKURA Champagne Terrace," an afternoon tea with free-flowing champagne on the terrace.

Sakura Cocktails and Special Japanese Cuisine Menus Also Available

A spring-limited promotion to fully enjoy the arrival of spring has begun at The Ritz-Carlton, Kyoto, nestled along the Kamo River.
Returning for the first time since last autumn, "Champagne Terrace" offers afternoon tea with champagne free-flow, exclusively for terrace seating at The Lobby Lounge on the first floor. In a luxurious private space with only one table per terrace, enjoy afternoon tea consisting of sweets and savories created by the patissiers of Pierre Hermé Paris, along with the cherry-blossom pink "Champagne J. de Telmont Rosé de Saignée."
The sweets include four types using strawberries and other ingredients, plus scones and macarons. The savories feature five types using seasonal ingredients, such as a sandwich with smoked salmon and cream flavored with sakura leaves, sandwiched between pink sakura bread, and a quiche with sakura shrimp and ricotta cheese.
At "The Bar," with its stylish atmosphere overlooking a lit-up waterfall, two cocktails are offered: "SAKURA SATISFACTION," a Japanese-sweet-like cocktail combining house-made sakura syrup and white bean paste with champagne, and "Sakura," a short cocktail pairing house-made sakura cordial with whiskey.
Bartenders with experience, including a winner of the "Bacardi Legacy Cocktail Competition 2020" Japan finals, will showcase their skills, offering a chance to enjoy an evening cherry blossom viewing experience with sakura cocktails.
The Japanese restaurant "Mizuki" also presents a special course to evoke the sakura season. Six dishes are available from the Kaiseki, Sushi, and Tempura sections, including "Sea Bream Rolled in Sakura Leaves," seasonal mountain vegetables, and eel rice, all to be enjoyed with "Sakura Sparkling Tea" flavored with sakura flowers and leaves.
This promotion will make your spring in the ancient capital even more special. Celebrate the arrival of spring in a luxurious space infused with the essence of Kyoto's tradition and culture.
