Chie Tanaka, a designer whose work spans window installations for companies like 'TSUMORI CHISATO' and 'BEAMS,' as well as book covers and illustrations, is releasing her first solo-authored book, 'The Joy of Crafting Connections, Day by Day, with Paper.'

The book proposes new ways to connect with others through handmade paper creations, featuring ideas for charming and practical items such as calendars, book covers, and gift wrapping.

Remarkably, most of these can be made with items found in a child's school supply box: rulers, scissors, double-sided tape, and hole punches. While the crafting process is simple, items made by hand carry a heartfelt touch. In an era of increasing digitalization with computers, smartphones, and social media, this book offers a chance to reconnect with the texture and warmth of paper.
