Messages Conveyed Through the Lens
The encounter between Piyatat Hemmatat and DITA began with the visual shoot for DITA's Spring/Summer 2010 collection in Thailand. DITA was inspired to conceive this exhibition by his sensibility and his previous artwork.
Hemmatat earned his MA from Chelsea College of Art and Design, University of the Arts London, and began his career primarily in fashion and architecture in 2003. Concurrently, he has been actively holding his own exhibitions. He is a notable artist whose works are permanently preserved at the Natural History Museum in London, UK. Beyond his artistic endeavors, he also lectures on fashion photography and art at two universities, and in early this year, he established the RMA Gallery for young Thai artists, demonstrating his commitment to nurturing future generations.

The "Apasmara" exhibition showcases a series of works inspired by the "Red Shirt Revolution"—large-scale demonstrations by the Thai people against the government—and the news surrounding them. What messages will you find in each of these photographs, each a complete work of art?
