Mario Testino: In Your Face and British Royal Portraits
This third installment of our new series, "Art Exhibitions Around the World," introduces a solo exhibition by photographer Mario Testino. For many years, Mario Testino has been a leading figure, recognized as one of the most influential photographers among celebrities. His works are now gathered at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, for an exhibition divided into two parts: "In Your Face" and "British Royal Portraits."

Expressions Captured with Bold Vision
The exhibition presents a vast collection of Mario Testino's works, divided into two themes: "In Your Face" and "British Royal Portraits." The first part, "In Your Face," runs from October 21, 2012, to February 3, 2013.
Mario Testino has continuously photographed numerous famous individuals, from supermodel Kate Moss to actress Gwyneth Paltrow, singer Madonna, Lady Gaga, and athlete David Beckham. He possesses a unique worldview regarding fashion, elegance, sex, and nudity, which he imbues into his photographs. The 122 works displayed in "In Your Face" each exude a powerful presence, captivating the viewer's attention.

Photographer Appointed by the British Royal Family
While Mario Testino is highly active in the fashion industry, it is less widely known that he is also a photographer to the British Royal Family. The second part of the exhibition, "British Royal Portraits," showcases Testino's favorite portraits of the British Royal Family, on display from October 21, 2012, to June 16, 2013. He has been photographing members of the Royal Family since 1981. The engagement photos of Prince William and Kate Middleton, exhibited in the U.S. for the first time, are among the most anticipated works, capturing the couple's happiness.
