Fabric, one of the world's most influential clubs, is the subject of the first-ever exhibition of its artwork at DIESEL ART GALLERY, running from Friday, November 16th, 2012, to Friday, February 15th, 2013. Titled '"US" by fabric,' the show presents a curated selection of the club's artistic output.

13 Years of Creativity Converge

Fabric was conceived as the antithesis of the commercial clubs that dominated London in the 1990s, focusing instead on musical performance and releases. This exhibition, '"US" by fabric,' showcases posters and imagery symbolizing 13 years of the nightclub's history. It marks the first time Fabric has ventured beyond London to visually express its philosophy and spirit through a collection of artworks.

From Keith Reilly, Founder of Fabric

“We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to present our art at the Diesel Art Gallery. We are delighted to have our first exhibition in Japan, a country with such a discerning aesthetic sensibility. I have long held deep respect for and have been influenced by Japanese culture and its capacity for expressing delicate beauty. In that regard, I feel this is something of a homecoming.”

Keith Reilly describes the exhibited works as the culmination of extensive and focused processes, encompassing photography, model-making, and pure design. These artworks are imbued with the distinctive spirit of Fabric, a club dedicated wholeheartedly to music. The choice of Japan as the venue for this inaugural global exhibition may well be considered a significant honor.
