Artworks created through live painting by Japan's leading creators in front of an audience for two days at the SUMMER SONIC venue on August 18th and 19th will beBARNEYS NEW YORKexhibited for two days, August 24th (Fri.) and 25th (Sat.), at the Yokohama store.

A Mercedes-Benz from the live painting event appears in front of the Yokohama store!
“SONICART” is an art event centered around live painting, where Japan's leading creators paint in real-time before a live audience on a giant canvas.
The Mercedes-Benz that will appear in front of the BARNEYS NEW YORK Yokohama store is the one painted at the SUMMER SONIC Tokyo venue. Three artists—Nobumasa Takahashi, Phillipp Kaeser, and Haruka Kanemaru—created this pop artwork on the car as their canvas. We hope you'll come and experience the appeal of the “SONICART” art event by viewing this spontaneously created piece.
