Jimmy Onishi’s ‘Dream Works’ Exhibition at Gucci Shinjuku
An exhibition titled ‘Dream Works’ by artist Jimmy Onishi, whose vibrant and imaginative creations have captivated many, will be held from Saturday, July 14th to Sunday, August 5th.GUCCIThe exhibition will take place in Shinjuku.

Workshop with Children Affected by Disaster
This exhibition is a collaboration between Jimmy Onishi, an artist whose colorful and imaginative works are highly acclaimed worldwide, and Gucci. Approximately 20 of his representative pieces will be displayed, including new works created for Gucci and Gucci Bears adorned in his signature style.
On Monday, July 16th, during the exhibition period,Great East Japan Earthquakea workshop will be held where children affected by the disaster will paint together to create a large-scale artwork. This piece will be exhibited and then donated to the disaster-stricken areas of theGreat East Japan Earthquake.
Furthermore, to commemorate the ‘Dream Works’ exhibition, an 8-meter-long window facing the street at Gucci Shinjuku will feature a display of Jimmy Onishi’s artwork themed “The Breath of the Earth.” A gold ring symbolizing the sun is placed at the center, and the vibrant artwork, depicting elephants, giraffes, horses, and other animals in motion, will delight passersby.
Currently, Gucci's official Facebook page is running a campaign to invite 10 pairs of people to the opening reception on Friday, July 13th. The application period ends Tuesday, July 10th, so be sure to check it out soon.
Additionally, from Friday, July 20th to Sunday, August 5th, special content from Jimmy Onishi will be available for download via the official Facebook page.
Jimmy Onishi continues to refine his unique, beautiful use of color and dreamlike style, and this encounter with Gucci promises an exhibition not to be missed.
